Alejandro "Alex" Chavez was a character on The Young and the Restless, portrayed by Ignacio Serricchio from 2012-2014.
Biography[]
Alex Chavez arrives in Genoa City from New York City asking Kevin Fisher about the whereabouts of Noah Newman. He later questions Noah concerning his ex-girlfriend from New York, Adriana Stone. Adriana had previously sent Noah a duffel bag filled with cash money in the mail and told him to "keep it safe". Kevin and his wife, Chloe Mitchell, struggling financially, overheard about the missing money and decided to break into Noah's house to steal it. Alex kept pressuring Noah about telling the truth about where Adriana and the stolen money was, revealing that Adriana is actually his younger sister. Adriana stole the money back from Kevin and Chloe, but eventually turned it to Alex. During the investigation, however, Alex was fired from his police job in New York. Paul Williams, who was recently hired as chief of police at the Genoa City Police Department gave Alex a job and has also began romantically seeing Abby Newman.
