The pair are newer friends. Sally reached out to Audra when she was deemed the town pariah because she knows how it feels to be exiled from the community.
The pair connect quickly and become friends and confidants to each other. Sally is there for Audra as she deals with the backlash of Glissade being taken away from her. And Audra is there fro Sally when she is left heartbroken by Adam and Chelsea. Audra suggest that Sally get revenge on Adam and Chelsea by sleeping with Billy for one night but Sally says that she couldn't do that.
