Storylines[]
The pair first meet at the Genoa City Athletic Club when Claire is waiting for her boyfriend who is attending to son Harrison. The duo bond over martinis and Holden introduces her to James Bond movies (which she has never seen). The pair continue to flirt with each other
Holden and Claire continue to hangout and talk over martinis about all the trouble in there lives.
When Claire is having a panic attack in Chancellor Park, Holden is there for her. And helps her through her attack and asks her if she is okay. Claire tells him all about her dad and what she is going through. He offers to distract her by going to Society to just relax and have a drink to get her mind off of everything.
The pair remain friends and continue to hang out with each other around town.
After Claire broke up with Kyle, Holden offered her to come to Los Angeles with him and he can be her tour guide. The pair go to LA together and Holden shows her around town.
Holden introduces her to people that he use to hang out with before leaving LA for Genoa City. The duo are surprised to see Kyle show up in LA but Claire tells him to leave and give her space to figure what she wants.
Holden takes Claire to the Shadow Room club to let loose and have fun. Holden tells Claire that before he left Kyle was looking for information about him from Sienna. Claire tells him that Kyle has no right and she is her own person that can make her own decisions.
To further drive her point she kisses Holden in the middle of the club and offers for him to come to her hotel room. As the night progresses, Claire tells Holden that she doesn't want anymore alcohol and is going to stick with water so she can have a clear head for whatever comes next. Claire and Holden kiss again and eventually climb into bed and have sex for the first time together.
