Jordan is a fictional character on The Young and the Restless, portrayed by Madison Thompson from October 27, 2020 to April 13, 2021.
Biography[]
Jordan is a friend of Faith Newman. Her younger brother, Mason, is in Faith's class.
Jordan was first alluded to on October 13 when Faith texted her. Afterwards, they met up a few times, including one late-night outing at the park. Nick and Sharon weren't okay with this, especially since Faith hadn't been upfront regarding her whereabouts. They were worried about their daughter's safety, and Faith promised not to do anything like that again.
On October 26, Jordan appeared at Crimson Lights for the first time. She complimented the retro style of the coffee house and asked for Green Tea instead of hot chocolate. Jordan also smoothed things over with Faith's parents about the park incident, and seemed to win them over. She suggested that if the park was off-limits after a certain time, they could always meet up somewhere else. Jordan was very polite and apologetic, earning her Nick and Sharon's approval.
Later, once Faith and Jordan were alone, their true colours started to show through. Faith mentioned how she had been extra sweet and helpful so that her parents would trust her again. Jordan was pleased to hear it. The more perfect your parents think you are, the more you can get away with. Summer thought it was weird that Faith and Jordan were friends. Faith explained that they had worn the same shirt to school one day and hit it off. Besides, Jordan was only 2 years older.
Faith soon got sucked into Jordan's crowd of older friends. Jordan invited her to a pool party hosted by a cute boy named Bret. Faith lamented that Bret had never noticed her before at school. Jordan assured her that Bret would be impressed by her outfit when he saw her at the party. Some days later, Faith was at Jordan's house where she was offered alcohol. Faith wanted to fit in so she drank it. After a stern talking-to from her parents, Faith told Jordan she had to play it safe and not do anything risky. However, Jordan kept pushing for Faith to live on the wild side.
When Faith and Jordan were caught with alcohol, Faith's family saw her as a bad influence and didn't want Faith hanging out with her anymore. Sharon confronted Jordan and told her she can't see Faith anymore. A few weeks later, Jordan started texting Faith and pretended to be a boy who was interested in her.
On March 26, Jordan claimed she was Tommy Ross, and tricked Faith into saying she loved him. Jordan then posted the message on social media much to Faith's horror. Jordan admitted she wasn't Tommy Ross and mocked Faith for falling for it. When Faith asked who it was, Jordan texted Faith her photo, reasoning she did it because she let her mommy decide who she can and can't hang out with. Jordan told Faith she was done with her, leaving Faith feeling devastated and humiliated.
Jordan's prank resulted in a new wave of relentless bullying for Faith. Unable to cope, Faith drank and got into a car accident. Jordan went to visit Faith to apologize, and reiterated that she was mad that they couldn't hangout anymore. Jordan says she realized what she did was wrong, and notes that she was suspended and that her parents had grounded her. Faith lashed out at Jordan for all the hurt she caused her and slammed the door in her face.
