Leslie Brooks (formerly Elliot and Prentiss) was a fictional character on The Young and the Restless, portrayed by Janice Lynde and formerly by Victoria Mallory.
On February 21, 2018 it was announced that Lynde will return to The Young And The Restless as Leslie to mark the 45th anniversary of the show, she returned on March 26.
On September 15, 2021 it was announced Lynde will be making another return to Y&R as Leslie Brooks, she will first appear in October.
Biography
Leslie Brooks was the daughter of Jennifer and Stuart Brooks. She had three sisters: Lorie Brooks, Chris Brooks and Peggy Brooks. She had a older half-brother, Eric Vanderway and a nephew, Theo Vanderway. Leslie had one son, Brooks Prentiss, whom she gave to Lorie and Lance Prentiss for adoption.
In 1974, Ernesto Fautsch, a long time dear friend of the Brooks family, gave piano lessons to Leslie. He became her mentor.
In 1978, Leslie dated Lorie's ex-husband, Lance.
In 1982, Robert Laurence pursued an extra marital affair with Leslie. His daughter, Angela Laurence, resented their relationship and tried to split them up. He was married to Claire Laurence who was institutionalized after learning Robert planned to divorce her.
Leslie was married to Lucas Prentiss. They later divorced.
2021 Return
On June 3rd, Nikki's birthday, Victor gave her tickets to Leslie's Prokofiev concert in Florence, Italy.
Leslie returned on October 11th for Victoria and Ashland's wedding. She played "Sonata for Lovers" at the cocktail party.
