Lydia Callahan Summers is the wife of George Summers, mother of Phyllis Summers and Avery Clark. As well as the grandmother of Daniel Romalotti and Summer Newman. Lydia is also the great-grandmother of Daniel's daughter Lucy Romalotti and Summer's son Harrison Abbott
Lydia was played by Abby Dalton in 1995, Terri Lynn Davis in 1996, and Rosemary Murphy in 1998.
Lydia was married to George Summers and was the mother of Phyllis Summers and Avery Clark. Lydia and George visited in Phyllis in 1995. Lydia visited again in 1996 and 1998 without George. In 2011, it was revealed that Phyllis had alienated her entire family when she had exposed George for ripping off investors. Avery defended George, but learned he was guilty just before he died in 2012, and after talking with Lydia, Avery realized she knew all along.
